Piccadilly is introducing two new restaurants in the Baton Rouge market this year: a freestanding “to go” location and a prototype offering new dishes such as Nashville hot chicken and healthy baked fish.
Piccadilly to Go will be a 1,500- to 2,000-square-foot restaurant with a drive-through window. Customers will be able to order dishes in person, by phone or online. Officials with the restaurant chain said to-go orders have grown 21 percent over the past year. To-go orders now account for a third of Piccadilly’s sales.
“We are positioned for growth and the key is that we’re adapting to our guests’ needs for convenience,” said Piccadilly CEO Azam Malik. “Families want fresh, affordable, homestyle meal options, even though they don’t always have time to shop and cook.”
